John wrote and called the government, showing he was very much alive! Nothing changed; they didn’t believe him. 

Billions of people right now are convinced that Jesus is still dead. Or they’ve convinced themselves he never existed; he’s a fairy tale, a legend, a myth. How do you know Christ’s death and resurrection are true? Your eternity depends on it! “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:17).

God’s Word declares that Easter happened. “By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also” (1 Corinthians 6:14). This is all we need to prove the eternity-changing truth of Easter! Sadly, some reject the Bible. So point them to the eyewitnesses of Christ’s resurrection, his disciples. If the resurrection was a lie, a pact made by the disciples to sell Bibles and gain fame, then why were they willing to die proclaiming that Christ rose? It cut short their lives. Peter and Andrew were crucified. James was stoned. The apostle Paul was beheaded. These men were willing to give their lives because they knew—saw with their own eyes—that Christ conquered death. Through their witness and through inspired Scripture, so do you. Christ is risen! That truth changes everything.
